September already?

Can you believe it's already September? Where has the summer gone? I guess it's true what they say...the older you get, the faster time flies by.

This weekend definitely flew by. Here are some pics from our vantage point down on the river for the fireworks.

They were expecting a half a million people. I never did hear if they made that number or not. Who counts all of these people anyway?

Here's the barges coming with the fireworks.

This was pretty cool. There were skydivers and this guy had the American flag. They had more skydivers at night that had lights attached to their feet. That was really cool, but you couldn't pay me to do that!
