Home again, home again, jiggity jig

I had an absolutely wonderful weekend in BG with Bean and the boys. We spent all day Saturday at the football field, which was a new experience for me. Watching those little ones run around and actually play football was very entertaining. Here's a couple pix of the munchkins in their gear. First up is the little one:

I didn't get any good pics of the older one in his gear except for a view through lots of other people at their post-game meeting:
Here's a picture of Bean and I at the ball field that her oldest took.

After the day full of games, we went to the orchard for some fall festivities. We had a lot of fun. We took a hayride out to the pumkin patch for the kids to pick their own pumpkins. Unfortunately my camera was dying so I don't have any pics with them and their pumpkins, but here they are riding the horse, another activity they did while we were there.

Here's an action shot of the big one jumping the hay stacks, while the little one watches in the background. He had more courage than I did--you couldn't have paid me to jump from one stack to the other.

Pretty good photography skills, eh?

After the orchard, Bean and I proceeded to drink cosmopolitans in our fancy glasses and watch the "Sex and the City" movie. Here's my artsy shot of our drinks.

Not bad for a point-and-shoot, huh?

Anyway, I had a great weekend. The only downside is that it went too fast. Bean and I agreed that we have to see each other more often. It sucks to have your BFF in another city.
