So, yesterday I decided to make the Pioneer Woman's cinnamon rolls. She told us on her blog that we had to make them...people would love us if we gave them to them...we might even get a marriage proposal out of it (if we needed one).
The process is a long one. You use real yeast and everything. I started making them too late so I put the dough in the fridge--like she said I could with no problems. Tonight I made the "guts". I could go into this big long explanation, but here are some pictures.
In the pans, ready to bake...finally!

Still uncooked, but I found a new setting on my camera that I wanted to try out. Pretty impressive photography, huh?

The make-you-slap-your-gramma icing

Out of the oven. They're too done for my taste.

All dressed up and ready to go...to my thighs!

So, the verdict: I wouldn't make them again. They're too much work and I think I screwed up by letting the dough sit in the fridge overnight, even though she said it would be fine if we did. What would I do next time? Buy a roll of Cinnabon rolls at Kroger and make this icing to put on them. I'm thinking we're talking nirvana, man.
