All Christmas, all the time

I feel like I'm brainwashed. All I'm thinking about is potential Christmas gifts, who is left on the list, when can I go shopping when the freaks won't be out, how soon can I get done. I want the shopping over so I can put that behind me. I am very close; so close I can taste it. The kids are the holdups. They are so difficult to buy for. Let me re-phrase--the boys are hard to buy for; girl child is easy. The hardness for her comes in deciding what to buy off of a list of many possibilities. The boys, on the other hand, are ridiculously hard. Why are men so hard to buy for? I hear this complaint across the board...not just from me. Must be something to do with the penis.

Mr and I are taking a little excursion this weekend. We're headed to the lovely city of NashVegas. a.k.a., Nashville, Tennessee baby, Music City USA! I love the Opryland hotel during the holidays and it's been years since I've been down there during this time. They decorate it so beautifully. I made the hotel reservations tonight and we'll leave Friday. I wish we were staying at the Opryland, but in addition to being outrageously beautiful, it's also outrageously priced. We're staying close to it though. I'm excited and really looking forward to it. We've had an extremely busy few weeks so it will be nice to get away and just have some fun. Who knows, maybe I can pick up some Christmas gifts down there.
