We got the video of our wedding yesterday and watched it last night. It is virtually unedited so it's not all "prettied" up, but I am SO glad we have it. We may have him edit it for our first anniversary, but for now, I'm treasuring this one. We got to see so many elements of the wedding prior to us coming out that we missed--reactions to the video we showed, people who showed up late! The latecomers are really funny. Plus, we got to see a lot of stuff at the reception that we missed since we were visiting with people and were in and out of the room a lot. He kind of edited it to the highlights so the DVD was close to 2 hours long when in actuality, he taped for 5 hours. We have the truly raw images on some small tapes that we have no way of playing right now. I think I was more nervous watching the video than I was on the day of the actual wedding!
I gotta let you know about my 3 new favorite fragrances at Bath and Body Works--Coconut Lime Verbana, Exotic Coconut and Fresh Pineapple. Unfortunately, I am a latecomer to enjoying the pineapple and coconut. The Exotic Coconut is a discontinued scent and only out at the semi-annual sales and the pineapple is on its way out--it's 1/2 price right now, but I love them. I don't understand my sudden fascination with coconut smells, especially since I hate coconut in anything, but I love them. Figures I'd start liking something as it's being discontinued. Run right out now and buy as much as you can of all 3 if you can. You won't regret it. They are great scents for the summer.
I heard on the news this morning that Ed McMahon's house is being foreclosed. He's had his house on the market for 2 years, lots of people looking at it, but can't sell it. Granted, I'm sure his house is in a way different market than mine was, but it makes me all the more thankful that we sold mine so quickly. We could've been in so much trouble in this market. Just gotta express my gratitude.
I'm off work today so my goal is to finish going through all of the stuff for the yard sale. It looks like the weather is going to be okay for tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed. I am hoping to make at least $300. It may sound a little ambitious, but we have a lot of stuff. If we have a good turnout, we should make it easily. I'll let you know how it turns out.
I gotta say that I'm disappointed that no one commented on my post from yesterday. I was really hoping that I wasn't the only freak out there, but you all left me hangin'! I will embrace my freakyness and see it as an asset. I will repeat this mantra 10 times a day until I believe it.
